Content management is concerned with the authoring, publishing,
delivery and revision of content. In the past, content was paper-based--e.g.,
policies, procedures, product guides, etc. Today, companies are
publishing this same content to the web—to be used in training,
customer care centers or wherever employees need performance support.
The problem is how to manage the growing need for web-based content
without hiring programmers or html experts.
